Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, I, along with a team of other makers, manufactured face shields for front line workers and NHS staff for FREE and ended up donating over 4000 face shields to those that needed them.

The face shield design was made by 3D-VERKSTAN and was globally supported and accepted by the NHS. It had enough room underneath the mask to still allow for Essential PPE such as Goggles and N95 masks to be worn. The masks themselves were fully waterproof and could be wiped, disinfected and even hand washed in soapy water. The plastic itself was recyclable and the frame was Bio-degradable.

The support I received from the general public was incredible, from donations of supplies, Cash donations and even sharing my facebook posts were all a huge help in making the project as big as it was.

The project abruptly ended after the UK government released a series of extremely strict and harsh guidelines in short succession of each other making it impossible to continue unless you were a mass manufacturing company.
